What is wrong with me today?!
O.K. must have pre-warning.
(Pre-warning: This is going to be a me-me-me post with me-me-me ranting. Leave this page to avoid angst-boredom contagion)
Woke up from 1am and it marked the start of my relay to the loo. Woke up for the sixth time finding sun shining brightly, 8.10 (Late!) And found phone lying dead beside pillow, battery zonked out overnight. (It was two bars!) Zoomed off to the toilet. Stomach still very unkind to me. Skipped class.
Met mom in town didn’t get anything. Moody shopping. Orchard Central was quite a very-not-nice place. Small and confusing and tiring.
Huge headache otw home. Listened out to best friends on the phone, talking men. (Why can’t they be more sensitive?!) Thought the night was going to be better after all.
Opened fridge for milk. Split all over fridge rack because didn’t tighten milk cap properly. Had to clean up the veg container as well because milk dripped down into it. (Argh!!)
Was going to bed then Soon Xiang kindly texted me, “How do you do Assignment 2 for RE”. What assignment 2 what?!
End up in kitchen with Root beer and potato chips for dinner (Comfort food for the messed-up day) Very not good.

What's your secret ambition?
When someone asks, what is your dream? What do you aspire to be? What do you want to do when you grow up? What is your ambition? What do you answer them?
Everyone must have thought of being a life-saver when you were young. Policeman, fire fighter, paramedic, nurse. So strongly influenced by the television shows potraying these people as oh-so-wonderful, and made us spend time googling in our daydreams.
I've been thinking and asking myself what do I really want to do. It was not singing (though I like singing but never will I want to do that as a job), and surprisingly, it was not photography as well. One thing that doesnt make me fed-up, and helps to clear my mind, it's cooking.

I love to cook.
I don't know since when did I like slogging out in the kitchen and wake up early just to watch cooking shows. I grew to love staying in the kitchen with all the ingredients and spices, experimenting and coming up with my own recipes.

Pastry chef Martin Towse, looking at the pastries he makes simply makes my mouth drool. Each piece of sweet treat is done with hard work and passion.
It pays off when someone enjoys your cooking, even the simplest dish. When you see that person's face light up when eating the food you cooked, it is the best reward.
I like hot dishes, hot soupy heart-warming dishes. Oh I love Chinese food. Cannot live without it. the more I type the hungier I get.
O.K. Dinner!
